Ian Hurley is a still photographer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is available for assignment work worldwide.
Whether it’s chasing the fading evening light across the mountains or waking up at 4:00 a.m. to train as a trail and ultrarunner, Ian Hurley has a zest for life.
A love of natural places is reflected in his visual work, born from years of travel and adventures locally, nationally and internationally.
Ian was first exposed to the wonders of the outdoors by his father as a boy through Indian Guides in Texas. Several years later he picked up a Pentax K1000 camera and began his photographic life. Ian has gone on to climb Mt. Rainier, bike Alpe d’Huez, visit the source of the Nile River, run the Grindstone 100 trail race, sea kayak in the Lofoten Islands of Norway and hike the famous GR20 trail in Corsica, just to name a few highlights.
He works with clients to create images, videos and stories that resonate with audiences and drive them to act. Our ever-growing visual world demands powerful images and Ian has spent over 20 years honing his craft to deliver results.
