A rishikumar gardens at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India
A young rishikumar tends to the plants while his fellow students clean around the grounds of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India. Most of the boys come to the gurukal or orphanage because their parents cannot properly care for them or they have been abandoned. They learn ancient Sanskrit and Vedic texts as well as practice yoga and meditation daily.
